The theme of metamorphosis, approached from different perspectives and with different declinations, gives centrality to the body and its potentialities. Related to movement (from one body to a different one), it can be read as a staging of the attempt to transgress the imposed forms of subjectivation, or as a way of expressing the need for radical change in Central American societies. This study focuses on the analysis of three stories by Jacinta Escudos in the collection El Diablo sabe mi nombre, deepening the research on metamorphosis in Central American literature begun some years ago.

Abstract
The theme of metamorphosis, approached from different perspectives and with different declinations, gives centrality to the body and its potentialities. Related to movement (from one body to a different one), it can be read as a staging of the attempt to transgress the imposed forms of subjectivation, or as a way of expressing the need for radical change in Central American societies. This study focuses on the analysis of three stories by Jacinta Escudos in the collection El Diablo sabe mi nombre, deepening the research on metamorphosis in Central American literature begun some years ago.File in questo prodotto:
