By carefully examining the numerous interviews collected in the Dits et Écrits and the texts of some courses held by Michel Foucault at the Collège de France, it is possible to find some references to Jacques Lacan. The occasions in which the philosopher mentions the psychoanalyst are not so many, but they reveal the consideration in which he held him, representing precious documentation for the reconstruction of relationships and genealogies within the French philosophical studies of the twentieth century. The aim of the essay is to follow these and other Foucauldian considerations regarding the philosophical value of Lacanian theory, identifying two main theoretical nodes: the value of the use of the pronoun 'I' and the crisis of the classical status of the subject.

Abstract
By carefully examining the numerous interviews collected in the Dits et Écrits and the texts of some courses held by Michel Foucault at the Collège de France, it is possible to find some references to Jacques Lacan. The occasions in which the philosopher mentions the psychoanalyst are not so many, but they reveal the consideration in which he held him, representing precious documentation for the reconstruction of relationships and genealogies within the French philosophical studies of the twentieth century. The aim of the essay is to follow these and other Foucauldian considerations regarding the philosophical value of Lacanian theory, identifying two main theoretical nodes: the value of the use of the pronoun 'I' and the crisis of the classical status of the subject.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
