During and after the last electoral campaign for the general election in Italy, the national and foreign media have pointed their attention towards the communication strategies adopted by the Five Star Movement, the League and the Democratic Party. The unexpected government contract between the Five Star Movement and the League has dealt with new goals and relationships between the government, citizens and political opponents. The essay draws on the enunciative strategies adopted by Matteo Salvini and Luigi Di Maio, since they serve as leaders of the parties that came to power, soon after the general elections and before the European elections. Particularly, the semiotic analysis focuses on the discourses and languages of the leadership, introducing the issue of the continuous political crisis and the relevance of the government contract.

The essay draws on the enunciative strategies adopted by Matteo Salvini and Luigi Di Maio, since they serve as leaders of the parties that came to power, soon after the general elections and before the European elections. Particularly, the semiotic analysis focuses on the discourses and languages of the leadership, introducing the issue of the continuous political crisis and the relevance of the government contract.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
