The aim of this paper is to elaborate a glossary of Nicol’s Ontology in a close confrontation with some platonic dialogues, starting with the analysis of “logos”, “basis”, “physis”. We compare Heideggerian use of “thigein” and Nicolian use of “lambánein”. Subsequently, the essay delves into a contrastive analysis which Nicol carries out on the translations of some Heraclitus fragments, focusing in “dialectic”, “cosmos”, “world” and “community”. The emphasis is then on “symbol”, on the problem of adequation articulated in “matter”, “synthesis” and “mysterious” and on the problem of stability and foundation of knowledge in the terms of “doxa” and “episteme”. The stratification of an experience which is always symbolic is articulated in “apophansis”, “apodeixis”, “poiesis”. Finally, the paper analyses semantic relationships among “schema”, “eidos” and “morphé”.

Abstract
Finally, the paper analyses semantic relationships among “schema”, “eidos” and “morphé”.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
