The present study aimed at comparing clinical data collection regarding the Spanish flu and the current SARS-COV-2, highlighting that the recovery of real-time data is still quite complex, despite technological progress in clinical practice. In fact, there is a significant delay in sending data to the competent bodies and institutions that have to define guidelines and all regulations useful in preventing certain risk situations.
