This work aimed at the preparation and characterization of materials to be used in the field of green building, enhancing the use of local natural resources. In particular, the study concerned the creation of panels to be used mostly in in-door environments. In particular, raw materials such as vegetable resin, laricio pine bark and hemp fibers were used. The characterization of the specimens provided for the measurement of density, temperature of maximum stability, mechanical strength. The compressive strength tests showed an increase in the compressive strengths in the specimens containing hemp fibers. The results obtained show a material with adequate characteristics as regards its use as panels in green building and with low costs.

Abstract
This work aimed at the preparation and characterization of materials to be used in the field of green building, enhancing the use of local natural resources. In particular, the study concerned the creation of panels to be used mostly in in-door environments. In particular, raw materials such as vegetable resin, laricio pine bark and hemp fibers were used. The characterization of the specimens provided for the measurement of density, temperature of maximum stability, mechanical strength. The compressive strength tests showed an increase in the compressive strengths in the specimens containing hemp fibers. The results obtained show a material with adequate characteristics as regards its use as panels in green building and with low costs.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
