The mystical side of Charles S. Peirce’s thought is generally less known than other aspects of his philosophy, and often under- estimated. In this paper, I will offer a sketchy account of it, also by means of a comparison with Wittgenstein and Russell. In particular, I will search for the occurrences of the four main issues listed in Mys- ticism and Logic throughout Peirce’s paper. In doing so, I will focus on three topics: the notion of sentiment as the guide for conduct (§ 3), the metaphysical and mathematical account of the continuity as the mode of being of the entire universe (§ 4), and the conception of God (§ 5). In my conclusions, I will briefly explain why Peirce is not to be reduced to Russell’s, nor to Wittgenstein’s, mystical attitude.
