The two novels Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There have been the subject of numerous readings and interpretations, from a psychoanalytic approach. Jacques Lacan made use of them on several occasions, identifying characters, scenes and structures useful for the construction of his own psychoanalytical discourse. Drawing on Deleuzian and Lévi- Straussian materials, the contribution aims to shed light on Lacanian discourse, keeping Carroll's work as a guiding thread and extracting an important element of intersection between the theoretical systems of the three thinkers mentioned, identified in the value of non-sense.

Abstract
The two novels Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There have been the subject of numerous readings and interpretations, from a psychoanalytic approach. Jacques Lacan made use of them on several occasions, identifying characters, scenes and structures useful for the construction of his own psychoanalytical discourse. Drawing on Deleuzian and Lévi- Straussian materials, the contribution aims to shed light on Lacanian discourse, keeping Carroll's work as a guiding thread and extracting an important element of intersection between the theoretical systems of the three thinkers mentioned, identified in the value of non-sense.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
