Filosofia e scienza in Bernardino Telesio (Rome, 2018). Bar- bero and Paolini undertake an impressively detailed survey of the early editions of Telesio's works and their circulation in Europe. Bond. argues that, despite some ob- scurities, Telesio’s De rerum natura iuxta propria principia was one of the first attempts to free scientific investigation from traditional authorities, in order to study 'nature according to its own principles'. Thus, he was correctly depicted by Francis Bacon as es are useful instruments for further research on o's modernity and his reception in seventeenth century Europe.
