Abstract

The framing of the current Italian debate on digital learning – focused on the COVID emergency – simply opposes in-presence learning to distance learning. A better framed debate should take into account different factors, concerning Didactics and learning in general: the kind of cultural capital (in bourdieusian sense) involved in teaching/learning, the bodily and spatial component of school training, and the cognitive shifts required by digital learning.
