In the contemporary liquid society, career guidance is increasingly becoming an integrai part of the learning process, as it aligns with the institutional responsibility of the education system to "teach to learn." A survey conducted among Comprehensive lnstitutes in the region of Calabria sheds light on the state of career guidance, eight years after the dissemination of the "National Guidelines for Lifelong Guidance." The research reveals a Jack of consistency, as only certain institutes in the region have placed greater emphasis on teaching essential career guidance skills and providing individuai planning suppor! through non-curricular and interdisciplinary activities. Recognizing the need for improvement, the Ministry of Education recently revised and upgraded the 2014 Guidelines, addressing issues such as the shortage of adequately qualified "career guidance tutors" capable of effectively managing organizational tasks. This underscores the strategie priority of career guidance as the forthcoming three-year professional development pian for educators of all levels and di sci plines takes shape.
Nella contemporanea società liquida, l'orientamento diventa sempre più una componente strutturale dei processi educativi, correlata al compito istituzionale del sistema scolastico: "insegnare ad apprendere". L'indagine campionaria realizzata ha voluto fare il punto sullo stato dell'arte in Calabria dopo otto anni dalla diffusione delle Linee guida nazionali per l'orientamento permanente. Dalla ricerca emerge una situazione piuttosto disomogenea, in cui solo alcuni I.C. si sono impegnati nel potenziamento delle competenze orientative di base e nel sostegno alla progettualità individuale dei discenti con specifiche azioni di accompagnamento non curriculari/disciplinari. Di recente il Miur ha rivisto e aggiornato le Linee Guida 2014 affrontando, ad esempio, alcune delle carenze emerse dalla nostra indagine, come la bassa presenza nelle scuole di "tutor dell'orientamento" con compiti organizzativi e competenze adeguate, e i pochi momenti di formazione specifica del corpo docente. Ecco, quindi, che l'orientamento diventa priorità strategica nei piani formativi del prossimo triennio scolastico destinati ai docenti di ogni ordine e grado.
