The objective we propose consists in trying to focus attention on the methods and tools that come into play not so much in the ge- neral and complex experience that for some decades has been defined as human-machi- ne interaction, but in the temporary, fun- ctional relationship that occurs between the computer and its user. The scope of the problem deserves a multidisciplinary treat- ment. We will not ignore this interdiscipli- nary constraint which we will try to explore by adopting the lenses of semiology.
