Abstract
The growing demand for water in agriculture contrasts with the water crisis due to the succession of dry events and rising temperatures. Many companies are currently experiencing a deep produc tion crisis due to the reduced volumes of water supplied provided by irrigation consortia or other common systems. Small hilly reservoirs had a great development in Italy in the 60s and 70s of the last century but then they were abandoned, currently they have had a new impetus. They can be a valid tool to reduce the dependence on increasingly scarce water resources and in antagonism with other uses. In this work, in light of current Italian and European legislation, the use of small hilly reservoirs to accumulate, in whole or in part, unconventional water resources such as the puri fied wastewater of small towns is analysed.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
