The paper reconsiders all the textual problems of (Tib.) 3, 14 – which poses numerous critical issues with regard to the constitutio textus – trying to combine systematicity with the contribution of further clarifications and new reflections. Indeed, the commentaries of L. Fulkerson (2017) and R. Maltby (2021) do not particularly focus on the textual problems of the short poem, while that of H. Tränkle (1990) gives a little more space to some questions in this regard, but glosses over others. Conversely, a considerable bibliography has stratified on l. 6 alone, which is particularly problematic and variously marked by cruces.
