Abstract
In many Western countries, including Italy, there is an inexorable demographic decline with a consequent ageing of the population. This trend urgently needs a new approach to the relationship between the elderly population and technology. For some decades, care robots, designed for assistance and care activities, have been used in hospitals, nursing homes and at home. Given the cohabitation with a constellation of smart objects, the purpose of this article is to problematize the relationship between elderly person and robot by resorting to the conceptualization of the actantial interaction in order to compare the dimension of unpredictability and regularity.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
