This paper presents the final results of the Research and Development project “Ac.Ca. Building: safe design and construction with steel and hemp. Innovative technologies for sustainable buildings”. The work obtained a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) close to 7 out of 9 points. It concerned the development of an integrated system of typological and technological solutions with high flexibility for residences (collective, co-housing, mixed systems) and for advanced working spaces (coworking offices, fab-lab), also destined for temporary users. This paper focuses on the major typological and technological features of the system applied to residences. The aim is to highlight the ability of the dry-fix construction to change spatial and technological configuration in accordance with the contemporary dynamic urban landscape or the rapid changes that characterize it, proposing a system capable of adapting to rapid fluctuations of contemporary living. Furthermore, construction and tests of a 1:1 prototype proved the efficiency of Ac.Ca. Building also in the Mediterranean context.
Building in clima mediterraneo.

Abstract
Building also in the Mediterranean context.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
