Technological advancements continue to reshape daily life and society. In particular, significant research has been devoted to innovating medical devices for bone regeneration and tissue healing, addressing the well-being challenges associated with an aging population. This paper examines how the development of advanced medical devices can meet societal needs by integrating technological progress with a human-centred approach. A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted to identify and analyze key findings, including an overview of core studies and the conceptual and intellectual frameworks. The paper proposes a new theoretical perspective centred on human technology, emphasising the interplay of three key elements: the future of endogenous technologies, human well-being, and societal needs.

Abstract
Technological advancements continue to reshape daily life and society. In particular, significant research has been devoted to innovating medical devices for bone regeneration and tissue healing, addressing the well-being challenges associated with an aging population. This paper examines how the development of advanced medical devices can meet societal needs by integrating technological progress with a human-centred approach. A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted to identify and analyze key findings, including an overview of core studies and the conceptual and intellectual frameworks. The paper proposes a new theoretical perspective centred on human technology, emphasising the interplay of three key elements: the future of endogenous technologies, human well-being, and societal needs.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
