The archaeological area of Gianmartino at Tiriolo is a key context for studying Brettian architecture and settlement organisation. A monumental building with mosaics, painted revetments and colonnaded spaces has yielded significant architectural elements. The 2023 excavation extended the plan towards the north-east, identifying a space bordered by brick benches interpreted as a stylobate for a colonnade, and documenting an unfinished refurbishment interrupted by a destructive fire. Later rubble deposits sealed the collapse, indicating subsequent attempts at reuse. Further investigations are required to clarify the chronology, function and overall articulation of the complex.
