In this letter, the capabilities of two tomographic ap-proaches for subsurface prospecting have been tested against labo-ratory-controlled data. The first approach is a noniterative methodbased on the Born approximation, while the second one is a non-linear iterative approach. Despite some simplifications adopted inmodeling the scenario, both approaches have provided satisfyingresults.
