Poster presentations in a University ESP course can be an ideal way to encourage oral interaction among students. This article refers to a project in an Italian university with Social Sciences students, in which the students prepared and then presented posters to other members of the group in a “Poster Fair”. Questionnaires were used to gather information on the students’ experience and results show that the students’ reacted positively to this and felt that it was a useful way to learn new skills as well as a good and enjoyable way to practice oral English.

Abstract
