This paper focuses on the impact of the CEFR on EFL teachers working in a Southern Italian university. In particular, the paper reports on a local exploratory study conducted to investigate to what extent university language teachers involved in language teaching and the development of language tests are familiar with the CEFR descriptors, as well as to understand if and how it is used by language practitioners and language learners. The results would suggest that more work is still needed to further familiarize EFL practitioners with the full CEFR scales.

Abstract
This paper focuses on the impact of the CEFR on EFL teachers working in a Southern Italian university. In particular, the paper reports on a local exploratory study conducted to investigate to what extent university language teachers involved in language teaching and the development of language tests are familiar with the CEFR descriptors, as well as to understand if and how it is used by language practitioners and language learners. The results would suggest that more work is still needed to further familiarize EFL practitioners with the full CEFR scales.File in questo prodotto:
