Recently, it has become a vital strategy for achieving sustainable development in various industries, including robotics. Robotics systems, which often require frequent updates and replacements, face challenges in minimizing environmental impact. The use of sustainable materials in these applications presents an opportunity to address issues of waste production, resource efficiency, and environmental degradation. This work aims to analyze the primary sustainable materials available for robotic applications, assessing their feasibility and benefits. A case study is presented in which the most suitable material from these options is evaluated in detail, demonstrating the practical advantages of incorporating sustainable materials into robotic designs. This approach not only aligns with sustainability goals but also supports the development of environmentally responsible and effective robotic solutions.
